The Intermediate Stage: Resources for the Days, Weeks, and Months After Your Loss

At this stage, many of the immediate practical concerns surrounding the loss have been taken care of, but the grieving process is just beginning. Some of the suggestions from the immediately after a loss section are still important in this stage. Be sure to keep reaching out to others for help, practicing relaxation or grounding techniques if you become overwhelmed, and making sure that you take care of basic needs. You can use the resources on this page to begin considering how to process your grief.
